What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences? News Intern, Phoenix Television (2024); Production Intern, Dragon Television Independent Producer Team (2023). These experiences provided me with first-hand insights into how traditional media adapts to the digital age. Meanwhile, they shaped my professional discipline and grounded me in communication ethics and journalistic responsibility.
What is your ideal job in 10 years? I hope to lead my own creative studio or cultural agency that blends curation, storytelling, and experience design — bringing to life everything from exhibitions and pop-ups to media campaigns and hybrid events that spark public imagination and reflection.
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program? A passion for revitalizing Shanghai’s Haipai (ʵ∑Ê¥æ) culture through creative planning PLUS an urge to learn how cultural ventures can thrive strategically in a globalized world, through the lens of MSLCE courses 😉
What aspects of the MSLCE program are you most excited for? Internship. It’s a great chance to apply what I learn in class to real-world creative industries. And, if possible, I’d be more than excited to intern at Nintendo of America to explore storytelling and brand engagement from an iconic multinational video game company.
If you could have lunch with any person (living or dead) who would it be? George R. R. Martin! Can’t wait to ask him in person when he is finally going to finish the book and bring an epic end to the Game of Thrones saga 🙂
