What are 1-2 of your most significant academic, extracurricular, and/or work experiences? Two of my significant work experiences I have are, I interned at Esme Grace Media, an LA based production company and I also produced my own web series Lovely’s Boutique!

What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years? Showrunner of my own original show.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern University? What lead me to applying to the MSLCE program was me wanting to expand my knowledge of the business side of the film and tv industry. As someone who aspires to be a Showrunner I recognize how important it is to have an understanding of budgets, where to find money, etc. I want to make sure I am able to perform to the best of my ability and be able to run a successful show creatively and business wise. I also want to develop my leadership skills. I have been in leadership positions before and have felt like there was room for improvement. With the emphasis MSLCE puts on leadership through its classes and overall culture of the program, I knew this was the exact program I needed to be apart of.

Favorite… (TV Show): My favorite shows of all time are Mad Men and Pose!

What aspect of the MSLCE program are you most excited to experience? I am really excited to experinece the professional development and career that the program offers.

If you could have lunch with one person living or dead, who would it be and why? Spike Lee. I have always loved TV, but Spike Lee is who made me love film. I wasn’t exposed to any of films until college and from there I deep dived some of his filmography. From studying his work he has inspired me to think out the box with my writing and more critically about the stories I want to tell. I would love to just sit with him and pick his brain, but also just ask him about his own writing process.

If you could donate one million dollars, which cause/organization would you choose to support? The Brave Space Alliance
