What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences?

Working as an Assistant Stage Manager during San Francisco Opera’s Centennial Season.

What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years?

Working in leadership at either a for-profit or non-profit business centered around music and it’s performance.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern?

Northwestern’s MSLCE program appealed to me because of its uniqueness. It is easy enough to find graduate programs which prepare students for non-profit leadership, arts & media interaction, or business management and networking. But the MSLCE program is one of the few, if not only programs which integrates all this knowledge into a cohesive whole, thus creating a group of working professionals who come to any table with a versatile toolkit for interacting with creative leadership and enterprise projects. As someone who seeks to expand her knowledge and opportunities in this large, multi-faceted, vital field, the MSLCE program is the perfect fit.

Favorite (song/movie/podcast/show/festival/exhibition…)

My favorite song changes constantly, and I always have at least one in the classical genre and one that is more popular. I’ll always be in love with Brahms’ piano Intermezzo No. 2 in A Major. Currently I’m also loving Lizzo’s “Pink” featured in the Barbie movie.

What aspect of the MSLCE program are you most excited to experience? (i.e. specific class, site visit, IDEA fund, internship, etc.)

It’s a toss up between “Organizational Processes in Creative Enterprises,” “Economics of Creative Enterprises” and “The Power of Strategic Storytelling.”

What award would you most like to win?

Nobel Prize.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Anywhere near a body of water.
