What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences?

I worked as a Public Relations intern at MSL Group. I used to interview niche brand owners, learn about their brand stories and the progression of a brand idea to an enterprise with its unique mission and vision. I finally conveyed their values and stories to the public on the official account. It was this experience that helped me to define my career path because it brought me a sense of value.

What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years?

My goal is to work in a cultural nonprofit and someday to run my own company to promote Chinese minority cultures that are facing extinction. I want to preserve these cultures, to make people aware of them, and to save these cultures.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern?

I’m passionate about different aspects of culture and this program could help me develop my leadership skills and how I could most effectively promote those culture. In addition, I think collaborating with students in MSLCE might help me polish my ideas, make it easier to bring them to life and learn about new trends and skills in other fields.

What aspect of the MSLCE program are you most excited to experience? (i.e. specific class, site visit, IDEA fund, internship, etc.)
