What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences? Working in Concert Education Outreach Coordinator, Music Teacher for CPS, MDCPS, and The People’s Music School Uptown Academy
What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years? Opera Stage Manager/Opera Department Coordinator
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? Discovering my love for arts administration while working as a choir director and music teacher for two years in Miami Dade and later, in Chicago. While living in Chicago, I learned of the MSLCE program through research and was very inspired by the classes as they are exactly the topics I am eager to learn and gain experience in. I was also excited to see the program description aligned with what I envision for my future career.
What aspect of the MSLCE program are you most excited to experience? (i.e. specific class, site visit, IDEA fund, internship, etc.) Professional Development opportunities such as the upcoming opportunity to watch Harry Potter experience a talkback session with the Company Manager backstage, afterwards.
If you could donate one million dollars, which cause/organization would you choose to support? There are too many causes to choose from but my top three would be to support the houseless crisis in America, lobby for education reform in America, and help rebuild Gaza; feed the hungry and heal the sick and wounded.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be… Passionate, Outgoing, Inclusive
Favorite piece of media? Favorite Song: Girl, so confusing by Charli XCX, Favorite Opera: La Boheme, Favorite Musical: Spring Awakening
