What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences?
I’ve worked as a professional dancer for the last 8 years. I spent the first 5 years of my career with the well-known Cisne Negro Dance Company in Brazil performing contemporary and classical works. In 2021, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA, and spent two seasons as a principal dancer and instructor with Bodiography Contemporary Ballet.
What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years?
I’d like to be working in the nonprofit realm. My goal is to make the live arts more accessible to underprivileged communities through targeted outreach programs.
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern?
After years of experience on stage, I was looking for a program to guide me through a career shift. The MSLCE program combined all my interests and provided the necessary tools to take me to my next challenge.
