What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences?

I had a short assignment working with the Krannert Center for Performing Arts Events Office as a Production Assistant. It was very fulfilling for me as an artist as I was tasked with communicating with clients and reviewing paperwork by day, and then was on my feet to ensure they had a great experience before, during and after their performance at the center in the evening.

What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years?

Production Stage Manager or Events Coordinator for a performing arts center/institution.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern?

While my focus in undergrad was theatrical stage management, I discovered that my skills worked in a variety of other areas, including dance, radio, and event management. I wanted to explore the possibilities in these and other entertainment fields while building business skills that will make me a more well-rounded arts administrator.

What aspect of the MSLCE program are you most excited to experience? (i.e. specific class, site visit, IDEA fund, internship, etc.)

(In)Equity in Arts and Entertainment! The theatre industry has had a lot of discussion about diversity and anti-racism in recent years, and I am interested in seeing how these practices vary within the entertainment industry as a whole.

If you could have lunch with one person (living or dead), who would it be? And why?

America Ferrera! I would love to talk to her about her on-screen work and how’s she’s leveraged that to advocate for others.

What award would you most like to win?

A Kennedy Center Honors.

If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be…

Passionate, Dynamic, Resourceful

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Boston has a soft spot in my heart
