What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences? I was the Director of Marketing for BoHo Theatre in Chicago, and have been freelance teaching and directing for the last 7 years in Illinois and Wisconsin.

What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years? I would love to be an Artistic or Creative Director in the Performing Arts. My long term goal is to open my own theatre company with a specific focus on education programs.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I was specifically interested in the MSLCE program because it offers a wide variety of courses and experience opportunities that will set me up for success in the next phase in my career.

If you could have lunch with one person (living or dead), who would it be? And why? First Lady Dolley Madison! I have always had a fascination and love for the First Ladies and their philanthropy work as well as their incredible (but typically unknown) achievements and contributions to the political and cultural landscape of America. Dolley Madison has always been my favorite!

If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be… Driven, Tenacious, and Creative

Which leader or influential figure inspires you the most and why? I am inspired by all of the everyday women that are overcoming obstacles and breaking barriers. There are so many influential women in the arts that are contributing their talents and leadership with courage, kindness, and resilience.
