Area(s) of Interest: Music, TV/film, Visual arts, Video/digital media

Experience: The most meaningful project I’ve ever worked on was my undergraduate capstone animation that I produced, designed, and animated. The story was inspired by a dear friend of mine and focused on mental health awareness.

Ideal job in 10 Years: Working as a producer for a Motion Graphics / Animation studio.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? In undergrad, I studied the creative aspects of my desired trade, with little instruction or personal knowledge on the creative industries as a whole. While in the MSLCE program, I look forward to learning specific tools that will help me reach my goals as well as make connections with others in various fields.

What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? I’m excited for it all, but I’m most looking forward to the Power of Pitching + Persuasion class taught by Laverne McKinnon.

If you could have lunch with anyone person (living or dead) who would it be? Charlotte Brontë. Jane Eyre is my favorite book.

Where are you from? Dallas, TX
