Experience: Being an English Speaking Union fellow and studying at The Globe Theatre in their Teaching Shakespeare through Performance course and being an advocate for Black Students in my role as a Residential Counselor at my alma mater, the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
Leader/Figure that inspires me the most: Moms that live their dreams.
Ideal Job in 10 Years: Showrunner for a series that I am passionate about and an international motivational speaker.
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? It was time for me to stop pressing pause and live life using all of my gifts and talents. 
Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )?  I really enjoy the ” Gettin’ Grown” podcast as well as just about anything with Viola Davis in it. 
What are you most looking forwards to about the MSLCE program? There are so many things that I look forward to in the program! I’m excited about Laverne and AJ’s classes, the speaker series and summer internship.
What is your favorite Chicago landmark/attraction, or what are you most excited to visit? The Lake is always a great place of peace for me.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? A place that allows me to escape to the serenity of the ocean in 30 minutes or less.
What award would you most like to win? Outside of an Oscar, I’d love to win something for inspiring or encouraging others to live as their complete selves.
Where are you from? Chicago Suburbs
