What are 1-2 of your most significant academic/extracurricular/work experiences? I was deeply impressed by my internship in a concert company last year. Originally, I was the stage executive producer, but because there were few interns in the company at that time, I was asked to participate in the stage design team at the same time, and I needed to learn a software called Midjourney to draw stage renderings. To be honest, I was terrified because I had never learned anything like it before. I remember when I first started using this software, I had a hard time getting the AI to draw the effect I wanted, I felt it was harder than I could draw it myself. So at that time, I went online to learn a lot about Midjourney and learned the skills of inputting commands. It was a process of gaining experience, during that time, I often learned to use Midjourney in my off-hours. It may sound like a poorly paid intern is not worth so much time, but I like to do things to the best of my ability. And then one day I suddenly found that the AI was particularly obedient, and even the renderings were better than my ideas. I feel a great sense of accomplishment, and I feel like I have gained a skill, after all, AI drawing is the trend of The Times.
What is your ideal job/role in about 10 years? My highest goal is to set up a brand like Aman, to tell the national culture in the mountains of China with hotels as the carrier
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I found that my current ability was not able to complete my dream of starting a business, so I researched on the Internet and found this program. I think this is a good program that combines entertainment and entrepreneurship. The former is what I have studied in my undergraduate studies, while the latter is what I want to do in my future career.
What aspect of the MSLCE program are you most excited to experience? (i.e. specific class, site visit, IDEA fund, internship, etc.) Economics of Creative Enterprises, Arts and Entertainment Law and Ethics…
