What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? The MSLCE program caught my attention because it is a niche program focused on shaping strong leaders, while exploring multiple aspects of the creative sector. No other program I researched seemed to highlight the importance of leadership to the same degree.
Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )? TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment) is my favorite independent record label. Notable artists on the label include Kendrick Lamar, SZA and Schoolboy Q.
What are you most looking forwards to about the MSLCE program? I’m really excited about the career trek to LA or NY in the spring.
What is your favorite Chicago landmark/attraction, or what are you most excited to visit? The Willis Tower view is phenomenal! (Sidenote: It took a lot out of me to type Willis rather than Sears, Chicago natives will understand!)
If you could have lunch with one person (living or dead), who would it be? Lunch with Rihanna would be pretty life changing, not to mention we both share Caribbean backgrounds, so I know the food would be to die for.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be… I am focused, perceptive, and optimistic.
If someone made a movie about your life, what would it be called and who would play you? “The Adventures of an Extroverted Introvert” Yara Shahidi or Zendaya would be great options as me.
Where is your dream internship for next summer? I would love to intern for Pharrell’s multimedia company i am OTHER.
