Ideal Job in 10 Years: Something more “entrepreneurial’ in nature. Knowing the creative industries inside out and being able to use that knowledge to create new opportunities.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? The course offerings in marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and law specifically designed for the creative fields.

Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )? Two of my favorite movies: 1) “Forrest Gump”- it is a wonderful depiction of how one life can touch and impact so many others. “Shawshank Redemption”- one of the best quotes in this movie “Get busy living or Get busy dying”- SO TRUE!!

What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? Learning more about the nuts and bolts in the industries in which I have made my life’s work as an artist.

What is your favorite Chicago landmark/attraction, or what are you most excited to visit? This whole city is GREAT! (says this native New Yorker!)

If someone made a movie about your life, what would it be called and who would play you? “Always Off by One Button”, starring Sandra Bullock as me!

What award would you most like to win? A MacArthur Foundation Grant, Pulitzer or Nobel Peace Prize. My chances are probably not so great for the latter two but you never know!
