Experience: Within less than a year of pursuing acting as a fulltime career, I have landed a print ad for “Grubhub” and co-Starring roles in a feature film with network distribution as well as a web series.

Ideal Job in 10 Years: In 10 years I will be trailblazing in the entertainment industry as a full-time, working, in demand actress. I will also own a media company; creating and producing creative, impactful, and empowering non-traditional content. All the while, I will be educating and assisting aspiring artists in cultivating their crafts and developing their brands in order to pursue “nontraditional” careers.
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I believe that the MSLCE program goes against the grain of traditional academics, teaching visionaries such as myself to pursue their creative passions/area interests; ultimately equipping us to create or lead some of the most innovative and ingenious enterprises. It merges the concepts of business and pleasure which I have always been taught to keep separate. For me, this is the next step towards living out the phrase “If you do what you love everyday, you’ll never work another day in your life”. And I mean, come on, it is Northwestern!!!
Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )? Two of my favorite songs are “Doo Wop” by Lauryn Hill and “Moving Forward” by Free Chapel, my all time favorite movie is “Love and Basketball”, favorite show “Law & Order SVU”, favorite exhibit is the dolphin show at the Shedd Aquarium
What are you most looking forward to in the MSLCE program? I’m most looking forward to participating in the speaker series and internship.
What is your favorite Chicago landmark/attraction, or what are you most excited to visit? The Buckingham Fountain is always a nice view.
If you could have lunch with one person (living or dead), who would it be? I would have lunch with Warren Buffet and he would invite Denzel Washington and the 3 of us would discuss keys to success, legacy, and securing and maintaining wealth.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be… Divergent, Passionate, Resolute
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I’d live in LA and vacation to my beach home in Bora Bora often.
If someone made a movie about your life, what would it be called and who would play you? “From Nothing to Glory” would be the title of the film and I would play myself.
What thought or message would you put in a fortune cookie? “What you lose will never be the best you ever had!”
How do you plan on spending/did you spend your summer before starting MSLCE? Over the summer I will be working and filming a web series I was recently cast in. I will also continue to audition for film/tv/commercial productions in order to build my resume and just enjoy my family as much as possible!
Where is your dream internship for next summer? OWN- Oprah Winfrey Network or JuVee Productions
What award would you most like to win? Oscar or Tony
If you could donate one million dollars, which cause/organization would you choose to support? My local church and artistic/educational programs
