Understanding the cost of graduate study is an important part of planning your Master’s in Leadership for Creative Enterprises (MSLCE) experience. This page outlines tuition rates for full-time and part-time enrollment, details included in tuition, and the range of financial aid and scholarship opportunities available to help you invest in your future as a creative industry leader.

Tuition

2025-26 Year*

Full-time MSLCE  Tuition + Fees

Total tuition cost = $76,616

  • Full-time tuition is billed equally across the four quarters of enrollment
  • Students can enroll in up to 4.5 credits per quarter
  • A Student Health Fee of $266 is assessed in Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters

Part-time MSLCE Tuition + Fees

Per-unit tuition = $6,816

  • Part-time tuition is billed per unit when enrollment is below 3 credits in a quarter
  • A Student Health Fee of $266 is assessed in Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters

Housing + NU-SHIP Health Insurance are optional services that have additional costs. See the site below for more details.

*Tuition is set during the summer for the subsequent academic year. Tuition increases will be posted as soon as they are finalized. More information on tuition and billing can be found on the Student Financial Services site.

Financial Aid

MSLCE Merit-Based Scholarships

The program awards a limited number of merit-based MSLCE partial tuition scholarships each year. To be considered for an award, a scholarship essay is required and the prompt is available in the application.

External Scholarships, Fellowships, and Graduate Loan Options

External Fellowships/Scholarships

The Northwestern Office of Fellowships lists fellowships for both domestic and international students that have previously been awarded to Northwestern students. They also provide a list of databases and resources that students may also find helpful when looking for further funding opportunities.

Graduate Student Loans

Students interested in graduate student loans may contact the Evanston Graduate Financial Aid Office for information.

Northwestern Employee Benefits

Northwestern employees may qualify for Northwestern Employee Reduced Tuition Benefits. Note that program merit scholarships are not available for recipients of this benefit.
