Experience: I interned with the Agency at Brown Books to learn publicity skills then spent two years with Greenleaf Book Group as their Senior Marketing Strategist.
Ideal job in 10 Years: I would love to be the founder of a literary nonprofit that helps to diversify the arts.
What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I have no experience with the business side of my industry and wanted to expand my skill set to achieve my goal of founding a nonprofit.
What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? I am most interested in the Cultural Nonprofits course with Prof. Buchholz.
If you could have lunch with anyone person (living or dead) who would it be? I would have lunch with Emily Dickinson because she is the writer that sparked my love of poetry. I actually collect editions of her work. There’s more to her than what is taught in most English classes!
