Experience: One significant experience of mine was working as a two-year research assistant in Wegener Lab where we studied the ways that media can influence attitude and directions that people can be persuaded.

Another significant experience was being apart of a campus-wide worship and prayer event called ‘One Night’ that involved a 2+ hour long performing arts production.

Ideal Job in 10 Years: My ideal job/role in about 10 years would be to utilize the power of art, through all of my areas of interests above, to emphasize the role that it has as it pertains to holistic wellness. Whether I pursue my own company or work with others, my main aspiration and intention is to have impact on all who interact.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I was in search for a program that would allow me to have creative freedom, focused on my areas of interests, and would give me the tools that I would need to be successful in my endeavors. The MSLCE program undoubtedly resonated with what I was looking for in a graduate program, and so I had to enroll!

What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? I am most excited about the faculty, staff, students, and any other individuals that I will connect with in the MSLCE program! I am truly inspired by people, who they are, where they come from, and where they are going. I am so excited to learn and grow from you all!

What thought or message would you put in a fortune cookie? “The career you seek may elude you, but the craft you seek is in your hands. You work on that your whole life.”
