Ideal Job in 10 Years: As of right now, I’d love to work for a non-profit organization that does community outreach for the arts. I want to make sure that everyone gets the opportunity to experience the fine arts and all that it offers.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I decided to enroll in the MSLCE program because it’s such a unique and interdisciplinary program. I know that, through this program, I will obtain skills that will allow me to be successful in all of my future endeavors.

Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )? My favorite piece of music is Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony.

What is your favorite Chicago landmark/attraction, or what are you most excited to visit? I have always loved the Museum of Science and Industry!

If you could have lunch with one person (living or dead), who would it be? I would love to have lunch with James Horner, the film composer. He’s such a prolific composer with a large body of work. I’d love to ask him how he came up with such memorable motives.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? My fiancé and I have talked about possibly moving to Germany at some point in the future!

Where is your dream internship for next summer? I’d love to be an intern for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra! The CSO has always been a huge part of my life, so I’d love to be able to work for an organization that’s given so much to me.

If you could donate one million dollars, which cause/organization would you choose to support? I would donate a portion of the money to the McLean County Arts Center, and the rest to the National Endowment for the Arts. The arts need as much funding as they can get right now!
