What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? A recommendation from my board of directors and a suggestion from a previous graduate
Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )?
Favorite Song: Hymn of Acxiom, Favorite Festival: Eau Claire Music Festival, Favorite Movies: Anything by Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino. (All of these influence my designs for productions)
What are you most looking forwards to about the MSLCE program? I am looking forward to the Trek, the internship and the cohort experience.
What is your favorite Chicago landmark/attraction, or what are you most excited to visit? I love visiting Ping Tom Memorial Park. The views of the river and the beautiful bridges remind me of what the city used to be and is in one of the culturally rich areas of the city.
If you could have lunch with one person (living or dead), who would it be?If you had to describe yourself in three words, they would be… The Dali Lama. His view of the world and incredibly intelligent perspective could really open my mind up to possibilities about changing communities through the arts.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Salzburg, Austria

What thought or message would you put in a fortune cookie? “A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”
How do you plan on spending/did you spend your summer before starting MSLCE? I wish I had a summer to prep but I’ll be spending the rest of December listening to audiobooks and reading.
Where is your dream internship for next summer? Warner Music Group in Nashville, Sony in New York, Personal Assistant for Theaster Gates here in Chicago.
What is the biggest problem in the world right now and how would you solve it? The biggest problem in the world right now is loneliness. I would solve it by creating cathartic community experiences that bring people together through music, theater, visual art, and design.
