Experience: I would consider my experience with Himalaya Technology Co. Ltd the most significant, because I worked as a regular employee rather than an intern in the company. This is the first time I worked with such a large group in a rapid working environment. I’ve found a lot to learn from this experience as well as my weaknesses.

Ideal Job in 10 Years: My ideal role is to be the management in a creative enterprise. I hope I would work in advertising agencies.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? The course design and selection really attracted me. I found that this program teaches students practical knowledge. The final quarter is designed for internship, which is not a standard curriculum setting in other programs.

What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? Site visit. I stayed in the east side (Boston and NY) for most of the time in the US. I’m looking forward to visit some corporations in LA.

Which leader or influential figure inspires you the most and why? I would say Elon Musk. He came up with many unrestrained ideas which other may see as ridiculous in decades ago, such as self driving cars, bring civilians to Mars. I do have some groundless thoughts occasionally, and I really admire him for turning these thoughts into reality.

Where are you from? Suzhou, Jiangsu, China
