Experience: A real-world experience that enhanced my capabilities significantly was my internship at Shanghai Fun Factory Media Company in the winter of 2018. I worked as an intern in the artist coordination department on the Chinese version of “Comedy Central Roast”. I was responsible for arranging the on-site production logistics including makeup, meals, rehearsals, draft reviews, and staging. Outside of production, I also had the chance to brainstorm ideas to pitch to company sponsors for their advertising content. I also had my first experience with quantitative analysis as I was tasked with monitoring and analyzing television viewership data to analyze speech and audience preferences. Casting was also an area in which I played a role, researching potential artists for participation and measuring their popularity, experience, and for some, their willingness to participate.

Ideal job in 10 Years: To be producer of my own TV show.
