Area(s) of Interest: Music, Performing arts, Theatre, Arts/music festivals, Nonprofit work, Museums

Experience: I worked for the Concert Management Office at Northwestern my junior and senior years, and getting to see arts administrators at work through rentals in our concert halls really sparked my interest in that career path. I worked closely with the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra when they held concerts at Pick-Staiger, and even though those shifts were hard work, the concerts were always exciting and impressive.

Ideal job in 10 Years: Audience research at one of my favorite museums

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? I have a wide variety of interests in the creative industries, and the MSLCE program will allow me to explore all of them while also preparing me for a more specific career path. The fact that I can stay at Northwestern for another year is just an added bonus!

What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? The speaker series! I went to one of these events last winter and it was really interesting so I’m excited to see the the lineup of speakers this year.
