What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? : It contains everything I could’ve hoped for in a grad program! With ways for me to focus in entertainment as well as get more skills pertaining to entrepreneurship.
What are you most looking forwards to about the MSLCE program? : The speaker series has always been one of my favorite things, but I’m excited to meet my fellow cohort members.
Favorite (song/movie/show/festival/exhibition … )? Film: Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse
Favorite Chicago Landmark/Attraction: The Gene Siskel Film Center.
If I could have lunch with one person it’d be: Ava DuVernay.

Award I’d most like to win: Being the first black woman to win an Oscar for screenwriting.
