Experience: My most significant work is The Ocular Organ, an interactive music-to-light art installation that won the Electric Forest Music Festival Plug-In Grant in 2016. Since then, our team has been invited back every year- and we bring it bigger and better every time. The Ocular Organ was joined in 2018 by our second installation, the Drum Circle, which has shown internationally.

In 2018-19 I was a trainee for German American Events, the organization that runs the Chicago, Milwaukee, Naperville, and Wrigleyville Christkindlmarkets. I worked on the sponsorship team to ensure the financial success of these cultural events.

Ideal job in 10 Years: Helping rebuild the global arts economy from the major hit it has taken due to COVID-19.

What led you to enroll in the MSLCE program at Northwestern? The MSLCE program is a natural continuation of my undergraduate studies. The courses offered will help me in my role as Marketing & Partnerships Manager at Rise Buildings and with my extracurricular artistic endeavors. Being able to complete my master’s in one year while working full time was a major enticement.

What are you most looking forward to about the MSLCE program? I’m most excited to return to the (virtual) classroom and meet the cohort.

If you could have lunch with anyone person (living or dead) who would it be? Someone who is hungry.

Where are you from? Chicago, IL, USA
