Students Learn Contracts and Copyright in Entertainment Law Course

By Ben Levine

Today, we’re taking a look at one of our elective classes and what students learned. Here’s MSLCE student Ben Levine describing our Entertainment Law & Ethics course, taught by Professor Rick Morris:

The Entertainment Law & Ethics course was possibly the most valuable course I took this term. We read many case studies from the entertainment industries and learned about critical issues like copyright, Hollywood accounting, licensing, and sales. We actually made usable contracts and learned how to submit the proper forms for things like publishing and copyright. This was my first experience in a law class and it was fun and rewarding.
